Our roots
From the University of California.
Our founders met as engineers at UC Riverside and built AP0110 through the University's programs — Berkeley SkyDeck, UC LAUNCH. The University of California isn't a credential we borrow. It's where we're from.
The name
Why “AP0110”.
Apollo, the Olympian, stood for clarity, light, reason, and order. That is the ethos NASA named its Moon program for — and the one we took our name from.
Those missions were engineered under unforgiving constraints — for resilience and reliability, to do what was thought impossible. That discipline is the inheritance we care about most: systems built to hold up, not just to demo.
So we take on the hard thing — an independent internet you actually own — and engineer it to survive: resilient, decentralized, with no central point to fail or be seized. The same clarity and reason guide how we build AI — illumination in your service, not another black box. The name even reads as an access point: a gateway to that independent internet, Web 4.0.

Our work ships to a public GitHub and advances the open standards of the Independent Internet (Web 4.0) and the agent-readable web. What we build is yours — source included, no black boxes, no lock-in.
